Minnesota State Fair

An all time favorite and must have at the agriculture building, Honey Sunflower Ice cream.

A new food for the Fair and us, tex-mex sausage gravy with biscuits at the My Sauage Sister and Me booth in the Food Bldg.

Jonathan getting licked by a goat that wants to be a cat.

Pork chop on a stick, we wanted apple sauce in a cup to go with it.

Creamcycle

Went for a Creamcylce on Sunday and hit up 6 places. Pumphouse was an overall favorite for flavors. But here are some highlights of points of ice cream interest. Beautiful bikes and summer gardens. (Creama)

Overall favorite of Berry and Cary: Peach Sorbet and Corn ice cream at Crema. They are open don't let the construction fool you.

Overall most interesting: Chocolate Coyote and Orange and Basil Sorbet at Sebastion Joe's.

Grand Old Creamery crossed the river! Birthday Cake, Coconut, and Strawberry.

Calm lake+fire+friends+smores=camping perfection

Here our slanting rock campsite that ended into the dark green depths of Skipper Lake.

NYC

A lion dance to celebrate a new sign for the Chinatown Icecream Factory. Lychee Sorbet so good.

The MOMA hosted a Chinese artist who took his childhood home and transported as is. It refelcted the Cultural Revolution, saving for a rainy day, and the pre-occupation with getting stuff.

Highline is the second elavated park in the country. It is between the meat packing district and Chelsea.

Tour De Fat

New Belgium beer company is hosting Tour De Fat this Saturday at Parade Field/Parking lot from 9am-4pm. This is their first time in Minneapolis and stop two on an 11 city fundraiser. All proceeds go to local non-profits, one of them being the Mid-town Greenway Coalition. All beer dollars go to the Greenway Coalition. Come buy a beer, enjoy the bike festival, and support bikes in the Twin Cities.

Some cool things: bike pit, pararde, DIY screen printing, a marching/punk rock band, and much more. Oh and if you like to wear costumnes outside of Halloween this would be highly encouraged. Costumes are very acceptable.

Deleno Strawberries

Look at that sky, the cow train, and all the smiling faces.

Perfect day for strawberry picking. We walked out with about 8lbs.

Yummy Yum strawberry tart. Highly agreeable.

There is a bumper crop of strawberries this year because of the current rain and sunshine. There is about week left.
We went to Apple Jacks in Deleno.

I love this fruit and had to buy some. Juicy, small pit and lots of fruit!

We saw some great outdoor music at the Stone Arch Fest. Roma Di Luna was amazing!
