Went to a mountain in Taipei County for a flower festival, but many of the trees were done blooming. Hard to time the events of Mother Nature!

Warming up Before the Lantern Festival
In Taipei you can take the MRT train to a place called Beitou. Here they have a natural sulfer hot spring.
Here we are with some friends at the Spring City Resort. It has been in the 50s here and although that may not sound very cold, our houses and schools do not have heat so sitting in a 90 degree pool of water...Wow! Behind us you can see people laying down on a marble floor that is heated by the hot spring!
After the spa we visited a Lantern Festival which marks the ending of the Chinese New Year. This lantern display was made by students.
Tons of people came out to celebrate!

Boracy, Phillippines
Can you believe that view! We were enjoying some Mexican food and the sunset on our last night in Boracy.
The wedding had many surprises. The first one was a boat ride to a beach by the cliffs. Oh and did I mention the fire dancers, drumming collective, and childrens choir.
Ahhhh....sunset.
The wedding was flowing with much to eat and drink. Essential was all the bottled water in this canoe with the bride and groom's name on it.
