We saw some great outdoor music at the Stone Arch Fest. Roma Di Luna was amazing!

Uptown Bike Race
They closed down the streets in Uptown, including the street infront of our place! There was food, drink and bike gear from local shops.
I don't know much about professional biking but I heard that there were some top men and women there.
Here they come around the corner...look out they are going FAST!

Bikes
On the steps of the Basilica in Minneapolis my brother and I got our bikes blessed. I thought that it was really great that the church was reaching out to support bikers.

Korean Taco
This was a very yummy korean dish in K-Town L.A. You take the Nappa Cabbage or Radish and add the pork, kim-chi, and other goodness, fold and eat. Crunchy, salty, tender, and spicey.

The weather was soooo great for this event!
Here is a biker-bug making his way to Powderhorn Park in the parade.
Here is the Heart of the Beast performance with huge puppets, humor and people on stilts.

Art in Bloom
We went to a fun exhibit at the MIA where artists create flower/plant arrangements that accompany art pieces of the museum's permanent collection. Also, I believe it is the one of the few times they allow the general public to take pictures in the galleries. So as you can imagine there were a lot of flashes flashing and pictures being taken! Here are a couple that I liked.

A Raisin in the Sun: Lorraine Hansberry
If you haven't gone out for theater in awhile you might want to consider the Penumbra's production of A Raisin in the Sun at the Guthrie. It is the 50th anniversary of the play. Lorraine Hansberry, the playwright, brought the audience into a home of a black family pre-civil rights. It is a story that speaks of the struggles, humor, routine, and the hardship of life that rings true today.
Rush line tickets saves you a few bucks, but you have to plan 45 minutes ahead of time to stand in line. It runs until April 11.
Below is a link to the website that also has a video interview with Lou Bellamy the director and kick-ass leader of the Penumbra.

Also the Mississppi is running at full white cap speed, stop by for a view of that.

1st time Ice Fishing
Here is a picture of the surprisingly nice ice house we rented on Lake Milacs.
We borrowed a underwater camera which helped us fish...I kinda thougt it felt like cheating but it was too much fun to see the fish on the screen.
Here is the fish I caught. It is a perch and our friend is going to pickle it.
